Yoga is the founding member of AIM Advisory and a Biomedical Engineer with more than 20 years of experience working within many areas of the Healthcare industry. These include medical equipment and technology planning and procurement, medical technology management, sterilisation planning, laboratory planning, FF&E management, wearable and remote patient monitoring, digital healthcare and project management.
Yoga has also conducted training sessions on medical equipment and technology management and designed FF&E consultancy databases compliant with Australasian Health Facilities Guidelines.
Yoga brings a reputation for high quality design and successful delivery of FF&E projects across Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and the Middle East to AIM Advisory.
Ron is an executive-level professional with 25+ years of experience in general, people and client management across various industries and countries. He has worked in the media, telecommunications, consulting and public sectors in various parts of the world. He brings strategic yet practical business acumen to grow AIM Advisory’s footprint through long-term relationships, quality delivery and creating impact through exceptional project delivery.
Ron is the Managing Director of AIM Advisory alongside Yoga, with a critical focus on strategic growth strategy, client relationships, company governance and process. At AIM, our strengths lie in the quality of the work we deliver, and our clients are the ones who determine the quality of how we have delivered. Therefore, client relationships are critical in what we do. At the same time, our delivery depends on the people we employ, so we focus on hiring and retaining the best talent in the market.
Anton is a Biomedical Engineer with extensive experience with International Healthcare Project Integration across the UK, Australia, Hong Kong and Africa.
This experience includes Master Planning and the inter-dependable integration of Facilities, Buildings, Medical Pathways and protocols (FTE and PPD loads), as well as business sustainability. Anton's extensive involvement in various projects has proven that it is highly beneficial for the client if the FF&E advisory team is involved in the development process as early as possible.
With his impressive qualifications in Hospital Engineering and Management, along with more than 25 years of Healthcare experience, Anton specialises in the transactional advisory and project lead roles to integrate facilities and medical devices, clinical scope and operational narratives, business models and sustainability.
Since graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture in South Africa, Mary has gained a wide range of experience working in architectural practices in South Africa, Namibia, and the UK, managing her own architectural practice in South Africa from 2006 - 2014 when she relocated to Australia.
Over the past few years, Mary has been instrumental in the successful delivery of large, complex healthcare projects in New South Wales and Queensland. Her role has primarily involved the Schematic Design, Detail Design, and Construction Administration stages, where she has effectively engaged with key stakeholders and contractors, demonstrating her ability to handle challenging tasks with ease.
As a Project Manager, Mary brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of project delivery, from planning to liaison and coordination with consultants.
Navanish has a Biomedical Engineering degree from the University of Multimedia in Malaysia. Registered as a Professional Biomedical Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia. He is a passionate Biomedical Engineer and FF&E consultant who has 15 years of experience working in Healthcare across Australia and Malaysia.
Navanish's skills include medical equipment maintenance, FF&E project management, medical equipment and FF&E planning, contract negotiations, delivery coordination, installation, testing and commissioning in accordance with standards, user training and handover. He is also able to provide project-specific solutions which may include feasibility studies, medical device evaluation, gap analysis, risk analysis, value management, and equipment specification.
Navanish has successfully led and completed numerous healthcare projects throughout Australia and Malaysia achieving positive outcomes and feedback from clients and stakeholders alike.
Baden, an Electrician by trade, has joined our team with over 23 years of experience at Maquet/Getinge. His roles, including Service Engineer, Sales, Project Manager, and Product Specialist, have prepared him for high-stakes projects. Notably, he was crucial in securing and delivering the Royal Adelaide Hospital project.
Baden brings unique insight and the ability to understand the many different facets of not only Hospitals and the Clinicians and management that work within them but also Builders, Architects, and a range of other stakeholders and how they integrate and need to work together to provide a successful outcome.
He is passionate about helping customers and colleagues achieve successful outcomes in their projects, and as part of the AIM Advisory team, Baden will continue to deliver on this passion. He leads key projects and manages and fosters strong business development and client relationships.
Ahmad is a Biomedical engineer with 14 years of extensive experience in clinical engineering, customer support and medical planning for large scale hospital and healthcare facilities. His experience includes working as a Senior Biomedical Engineer and Medical Equipment Planner, taking on technical, managerial and project design, planning, supervision and coordination roles. He has extensive work experience across the Middle East having worked for AUBMC, ERGA Qatar and other consulting inputs.
Ahmad is a professional member of Engineers Australia and the Lebanese Order of Engineers & Architects, and holds a Bachelor degree in Biomedical Engineering.
At AIM Advisory, Ahmad is our Medical Equipment Planner and FF&E Consultant. He leads project delivery, supporting
design review of functional programs. This includes tendering of medical equipment, tender review and validation, equipment specification and evaluation, along with supervision of utilities and civil works.
Rob has an extensive background in the medical field, starting as a clinical nurse working in Cardiac and ICU departments before crossing to commercial roles in the MedTech industry. Rob’s career followed the familiar path of sales, marketing and regional business management and global business support, before becoming Managing Director of a Global MedTech supplier subsidiary.
Rob has since been involved in many greenfield builds as well as redevelopment projects in Australia and abroad. Familiarity with the planning and installation of ICU’s, ORs and CSSDs in various countries gives Rob a strong insight into various workflow concepts and differing clinical needs. He understands the tendering process and various acquisition models to suit project
timelines and building schedules.
Rob also has a broad knowledge of clinical equipment and the market for these items in terms of vendors and available alternatives. This makes FF&E assessment and scheduling a natural fit as Rob understands the need and fit for purpose.
Justin joined AIM Advisory as a young professional after graduating with a Bachelor's in Health Sciences (Nutrition) in 2020. He has extensive experience in data and stock management in the logistics sector. Since joining AIM, Justin has played a lead role in our database management and operational support.
During his time with AIM Advisory, Justin has worked directly with clients on major projects, including the Queensland Government's Capacity Expansion Program (CEP), the Mater Springfield Stage Two Expansion, and the Accelerated Infrastructure Delivery Program (AIDP).
Beyond project delivery, Justin helps manage our FF&E database and reporting systems, coordinates with clients and relevant stakeholders, and assists in FF&E and gap analysis quality assurance.
Thayalan majored in quantity surveying and construction project management. Before joining AIM Advisory, he worked on construction projects as a site engineer and manager. This hands-on experience helped him to develop a deep understanding of project lifecycles and financial management, proving invaluable in his role with AIM.
Thayalan is motivated and driven by a desire to create meaningful impact and positive social change through our work at AIM, particularly in the healthcare industry and social infrastructure work.
With a keen eye for detail and a passion for efficient project management, Thayalan brings expertise to AIM as an FF&E Project Coordinator. He leverages his construction project management and quantity surveyor experience and skill to ensure quality and comprehensive equipment listings, project budgets and client liaison through user group meetings.
Sartkuna has a diverse industry background covering medical, semiconductor and wood industries. He started as a management trainee and then became a Production Executive in a medical factory. From there, Sartkuna has garnered extensive experience in project delivery and execution, including resource and schedule management, outputs, quality and milestone delivery.
Sartkuna has also worked on process and governance system development, including operating manuals and work guidelines for equipment and workflows. He enjoys work related to project operational and data quality management.
At AIM Advisory, Sartkuna is responsible for database integrity and quality management of FF&E related data through various stages of the design and construction of infrastructure projects.
With a wealth of experience spanning over 22 years, Valar has navigated all facets of supply chain and procurement. Her roles have encompassed planning, sourcing, logistics, and warehouse management, often in collaboration with international firms.
Valar holds a Bachelor of Economics with Honours from Northern University of Malaysia, a postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Management from Portsmouth University in the UK, and an MBA from the Northern University of Malaysia, which she completed in 2017.
At AIM Advisory, Valar is a Project Associate who oversees FF&E specifications, pricing, procurement and planning.
